Safeguard Your Valuables
The Rice University Police Department (RUPD) provides two ways to register your valuables online.
RUPD encourages you to register your bicycle. This will help us locate your bike in the event it is lost or stolen. To register your bike, you will need your bicycle serial number, as well as complete a short safety quiz.
Register Your Valuables (other than bicycles)
You can register your electronics, instruments, and other personal property (a decal will be mailed to you after registration).
The information you submit is confidential and will be used exclusively by the RUPD. This information will not be given out to unauthorized individuals. By registering your item with this department, we will have all pertinent information to assist in the recovery of your item in the event it is lost or stolen.
