The Rice University Police Department (RUPD) is contacting our amazing community for your support for the Special Olympics Texas. RUPD is hosting a Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) Truck Pull. The event will occur on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at the Greenbriar parking lot. The competition involves playing “tug-of-war” with a High-Water Rescue Truck. The participation fee is $300 for teams of six. The proceeds will go towards supporting our RUPD athletes in the Special Olympics Texas. A link to register for the event is included in this message.
